RIDE DESCRIPTION
Experience the thrill of the Dairyland Dare Bike Ride in the breathtaking hills of southwest Wisconsin.
Set in terrain untouched by glacial flattening, the Dairyland Dare delivers some of the most challenging riding in the Midwest, steep forested ridges, deep river valleys, and unforgettable climbs.
Choose your challenge with distances of 50K, 100K, 150K, or 200K. Road bikes, tri-bikes, and e-bikes are welcome!
This Gran Fondo-style ride takes cyclists through the historic streets of Mineral Point, WI, and across the scenic countryside of Iowa County, supported by an outstanding team of community volunteers. Fully stocked rest stops, on-course support, and mechanical assistance to support you every mile of the way.
New This Year: Elevated Post-Ride Experience
This year, we’re raising the bar with a fresh, delicious post-ride meal from Steve’s Tacos, a local food truck serving authentic, made-from-scratch dishes using locally sourced meats and fresh vegetables. After finishing, riders can use their food ticket to choose any item from Steve’s Tacos’ menu, the perfect reward after conquering the hills!
Meals will also be available for purchase for spectators, so come one, come all, and celebrate with us!
Also new for 2026, riders in the longer distances, the 100K, 150K, and 200K will enjoy a dedicated lunch rest stop at Aid Stations 3/4 at the Village of Linden Public Works Shop.
Take a well-earned break and enjoy Steve’s Tacos specialty, a delicious cold quesadilla (with or without protein) along with a variety of aid-station snacks and plenty of hydration to fuel the miles ahead!
